just plain cool
The tree is cheap, brown tissue paper glued to the wall using Elmer's school glue. The shelves are melamine from Ikea. I sprayed them brown using Krylon plastic paint. The leaves are cut from a Junie B. Jones book. The cocoon is from Ikea as well. :) She really enjoys this little hideaway. What an AWESOME idea!!
vintage toaster lamps I like the colander top/shape. I have been looking for something for the lamp on my island in the kitchen. The problem I have is that the shade gets dirty and is difficult to clean up without damaging the shade fabric. I need to experiment with this idea. The lamp is a canning jar filled with apples, this idea just might work.

A Self-Inflating Shelter that Fits in Your Pocket. The metallic outside warms the inside, or you can turn it inside out to keep the tent/emergency shelter nice and cool. And when it is not in use, it folds small enough to fit in your pocket. Sounds like a must have for those of you like me who feel like they have to be prepared for everything.
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Ratchaburi, Thailand....wow...looks like fun to me
Green lake: one of the most bizarre natural phenomena in the world. During the cold winter months, this place is almost completely dry, and used as a country park . But when temperatures rise the snow and ice covering the mountaintops begin to melt, and the water pours down, filling the basin below with crystal-clear water.
