Every UAE based photographer knows about the famous 'Dubai Fog', yet few ever manage to capture it. This is not surprising because it is very elusive. You have to be at the right place, at the right time. The reason for that is simple; fog in Dubai is nearly impossible to predict, it comes in the middle of the night and goes away while most people are still in their beds. On top of that, its magic can only be captured from the rooftops of Dubai's tallest skyscrapers.

A Partial Solar Eclipse over Texas Image Credit & Copyright: Jimmy Westlake & Linda Westlake. It was a typical Texas sunset except that most of the Sun was missing. The location of the missing piece of the Sun was not a mystery -- it was behind the Moon. Sunday night's partial eclipse of the Sun by the Moon turned into one of the best photographed astronomical events in history.

As surely as his paddle slices the surface, he knows he is not alone... Poem by Wintercove Paddler in the early morning mist. Leslie Frost wilderness area, Ontario, Canada.
