Everyone Should Keep A Commonplace Book: Great Tips From People Who Do
Love this- Journal on random pieces of paper for a year, then bind them together when you are done for a unique art journal.
Use an old book cover and add Christmas cards you have received through the years as pages. You can add Christmas photos/memories you've made with your family each year. Pull the book out each holiday season, and reminisce about past Christmases:-)

Nature journal specimen pages. I think that this would be a fun family activity... We could get a large 3 ring binder and collect when we go out to different explores. For now I could do the writing, but as they grow, Charlotte and Timmy could take over. Change: I would do one specimen per page, and have the kids draw a picture next to it because there are some places we can't collect.
Great idea for nature journal.
Grateful journal...need to make this for next year - i love this idea! what a great way to choose joy everyday! (could even be given as gifts!)
Love the bits and pieces sticking out and the colors
Mom and Me journal. Write letters back and forth with your kids. Ask a question, answer a question. Leave under their pillows...I love this idea.
inspiring visual art journals -- if I may lend a hand? Seek not "BALANCE" With "balance" you have a fulcrum problem. USE "L - E - V - E - L" It is Symmetrical and a PALINDROME. As with EVERYTHING it is NOT what you see, but what you DO when you see it. Perception is the mother of all deception; and perspective lessens the delusion we wrap around the illusion.

I like this for the teacher - but also the class - for building good character traits - as a class change to 1 goal, such as make a thank you card for the custodian, give at least one person a compliment each day this week or making time to pick up trash on the playground, etc. OR individually having 3 goals - home, school & personal & keeping up with it in a folder of some type
