Hanging planters from wine bottles -- Someone figured it out. Use a glass cutter to remove the bottom of the bottle, sand smooth so you don’t cut yourself. Make a ball of chicken wire or screen that will fit in the bottle, fill with moss. Put a sturdy wire through the top and attach to the wire ball. Add plant and hang. This is meant to be set out as a decorative object but you could easily insert a pin (securing with hot glue) with a loop of ribbon on it before gluing on all the corks to make it an ornament. Wondering if broken wooden skewers plus hot glue might not be the best way to secure the corks long term???
