Circa 1920 black silk evening or dress shoes are an elegant mix of late teens and early 20s features: An elongated toe, but with a curvy Louis heel and beaded Mary Jane strap. The ½" wide strap fastens with a grey mother button, and are decorated in a foliate motif with faceted jet glass beads. Typical of dress shoes in this period, the silk fabric covers a leather base except for the pointed toe, which is backed in a sturdy white faille. Shoe sole and sockliner are both black leather.

Circa late 20's or early 1930s brown suede t-bar flapper heeled shoes. They have leather soles with metal tips, and brown suede uppers with lots of top stitching and a gimp trim, they each have two thin straps that intersect with a t-bar, and fastened with tiny gilt buckles.
Vintage late 20s into early 30s brown leather brogue-style pumps from the William Porter & Sons shoe company. They feature a thick strap with brass buckle, stacked wooden heels, and geometric Deco punching on the toes and around the heels.
Outstanding pair of Wolock & Bauer Art Deco t-strap evening shoes in black silk and black silk faille with gold piping and fabulous black and white, rhinestone encrusted boulevard heels. Wolock & Bauer was a very highly regarded Chicago shoe store known for its high-style, superb quality shoes, particularly during the 1920's and 30's.
