1920's Beaded Flapper Dress Fashioned from light green silk chiffon and a glorious gold lame ~ the lame actually being a damask with metallic gold on the front, light golden high lustre silk with 'flecks' of gold metal on the reverse. The beading consists of silver plaitlettes, silver seed beads, silver bugle beads and stunning green rose montees. Green silk and bugle bead fringe, a stunning scalloped motif terminating at the scalloped hem.

1920s flapper sleeveless v-neck flapper dress with drop waist, decorated front and back with gold thread embroidered details & scallop hemline. The material is a light weight black crepe, the bow is black velvet lined with black crepe. I believe the gold thread is metallic because it is stiff & a bit rough to touch. The skirt is made of separate panels which have been sewn together, in the front every other panel is solid black with smocking at the top to add fullness.

Peach silk chiffon flapper dress, c. 1920s. It features rhinestone studs sprinkled across the bodice and silver and white beads in a cut-out...

An exceptional quality flapper dress is fashioned from jet black silk charmeuse (satin front/crepe back). The 'trims' are made up of thick metallic gold twist satin stitch, raspberry and pink silk tambour embroidery, amazing silver and gold seed beads, and finished with a chain stitch border. The skirt in the back has an additional panel (the decorative one!) that wraps seamlessly around to the front; it remains open at the front on the sides.

1920s beaded net overdress, France. It has a stunning split petal skirt in the back and a very sexy low, low dip back. The glass beads are placed in flower swags front and back, top and bottom on black silk chiffon and black French netting in two patterns. The bodice is decorated with a corsage of clustered black sequins on the upper right hand side.
