Definately on my reading list! Purpose & vision are as important for individuals as they are for organizations. Without a compelling purpose, we live life as a fairly haphazard experience, being easily swayed by the latest fad, temporary pressures, or the most recent advice on what others think we ought to be doing with our lives. When an organization lacks a compelling purpose, its people cannot helped but be uninspired. The linked video helps put it in perspective.

Book 2 of 3 - 50 Shades Darker - Initially, I was hesitant to continue the series. After taking a break, I picked it up yesterday and finished it today. These books are a fast read. Book 2 is a little bit tamer with more of a story line than book 1. Looks like I will pick up book 3 this week.

Another Anya Seton book. Based on a real historical woman, Elizabeth Winthrop, who chafed all of her life against the rules women lived under. Fantastic book and a chapter of my family tree.

Yrsa Sigurdardottir is Iceland's noir crime queen and is often compared to Stieg Larsson.
