50 rules for Dads with daughters... Warning: This will make you cry.... My favorite is 44. Write her a handwritten letter every year on her birthday. Give them to her when she goes off to college, becomes a mother herself, or when you think she needs them most.
This will happen someday. haha Ultrasound tech seals baby's gender in an envelope that you give to your bakery who makes the inside of the cake either pink or blue. So the expectant parents find out along with friends and family at the party when they cut into the cake. This is so cool! It saves all the phone calls, too. :)
Purchase a new Bible a year before your childs event—perhaps their 16th birthday or high school graduation. Then, take a year to read through it with a Bible reading plan making notations in the margin written specifically to your child. Make comments about the verse’s special significance. Mention how you’ve seen a truth of scripture lived out in their life. Warn them of pitfalls. Encourage them with favorite verses underlined. Then, on their big day, wrap it up and give it to them as a gift.
