Tried out on dollar store glass plates. Small bottle of armor etch is perfect unless you plan on mass producing. Left etch on for 15-20 mins. Recommend etching the underside of plates/serving dishes, so if etching letters you may need to cut mirror of letters into contact paper depending on technique. Easy to do, great for gifts, personalized decorations, etc.

Great Fourth of July decoration! Use any glass jar (I used Starbucks frap bottles) and take all the sticky stuff off (use sticker remover). Then make use the bottle is dry and use a hot glue gun or puffy paint to write whatever you want on it. Once that dries paint over the bottle with acrylic paint a few times!
