Freeze fresh basil pesto for summer taste all year long This batch made 7 ice cubes worth. Added a little more salt.* Can't wait to use it this winter. *(When these stick and you can't get them out of the ice tray, just run it under hot water (attempting to get as little water over the cubes as possible), and they will come right out. I also sprayed mine with oil before I put them in.)

(Works! My strawberries usually would last only a week, but after this they lasted 2.5!!) Cleaning fruit - fill sink with water, add 1 C. vinegar, mix. Add all fruit and soak for 10 minutes. Water will be dirty and fruit will sparkle with no wax or dirty film. Great for Berries too--keeps them from molding. will DEF have to try this!
wish I knew this years ago- Right after using the grill, unplug it and place a wet double-sheet of paper towel between the lid and the surface. The leftover heat causes the towel to steam and clean the grill. Wiping it dry with another paper towel is all that’s needed. I'm going to try with waffle iron. :: good cleaning idea!
