Red Velvet Trifle We made this without the chocolate ganache, and added a little cream cheese and sugar to the cream filling recipe (after a taste test--it probably would have been rich enough if we were using the chocolate ganache) I love a good trifle better than a cake and this one was delicious and so elegant for the Christmas tea at which we served it.

Cook 400 degree oven for 45 minutes or until tender. Top with grates Parmesan cheese.
