As we near the end of the school year, the days are winding down, but our students are winding up. Working on a still life is out of the question when the kids can’t even sit still themselves. Enter the Art History Carnival!

I particularly like this example of typography particularly enjoyable. The different text makes it different and visually appealing and I find it poetic that the words of different fonts all convey the same idea.

Collagraph Printing and How to use it in the classroom: The Collagraph Lesson will integrate science with art, focusing on how animals and insects use camouflage (the Collagraph print) to survive in their environment. Students will create a texture or pattern of an imaginary animal or insect skin using the Collagraph print.
