protein balls , bites , & bars

No-Bake Energy Bites. I took 2 great recipes and made 1 amazing one. Mix all in 1 bowl: 1 cup dry oatmeal, 1 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup ground flax seed, 1 scoop protein powder, 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips. Chill for 1 hour. Make into little balls and eat. They are so good I ate 3 while making them.

Yum. Zapped the oatmeal in the ninja before mixing, then I took these to school pickup. Took minutes to make. Kids loved them.

I subbed natural syrup for honey (although similar nutritional content) and omitted choc chips... made 30 balls, nutritional breakdown 83 calories. 9 g carbohydrate, 4 g protein.

I added coconuts and diced almonds

Followed recipe but cut sugar in half. Added a little milk as a binder. Delicious!!!!!

Low Carb Breakfast Balls from Food.com: I used to live off of these when I was low carbing. They freeze really well. I also occasionally mixed in TVP (texturized vegetable protein) and flax for some extra fiber.
