Deegie and the Fairy Princess

Deegie and the Fairy Princess Ruth W. Rempel ~ Illustrated by Dietrich G. Rempel and James A. Wiley ~ 1949 Rempel Manufacturing Incorporated. The discovery of the story book by Ruth Rempel has given me a lot of entertainment. I first started collecting the pottery animals in the story and then found the audio record by Ruth Rempel. Now all I need is a copy of the book and my collection will be complete, or maybe not? Just saw a lamp and there are multiple planters that I do not have.

    Do you have the giraffe?

I have all the farm animals from the Deegie and the Fairy Princes story. I think I have 2 cows and the large and small horse and donkey. I am still in search of the book. I was able to find the record on line but have not listened to Ruth Rempel's telling of the story yet. Hope to have the book in hand when I play the record.

I have one of the books that I was able to get quite a deal on and I'd probably trade it for the Sophie the Giraffe figurine if I could find another one, that's why I was asking if you had one. My mom collects the ceramic animals and to the best of my knowledge she has them all with the exception of that darned giraffe. The book and the 45 are pretty darned scarce too and they have been bringing big money the past few years.

Been looking for that giraffe for you Nathan. Went to Snohomish antique Malls last weekend but had no luck. If I find one I will let you know.

I appreciate it! We hit the antique shops in OKC pretty often and the Guthrie shops a little less often. Don't see many of them around here at all, we've always seen more in Missouri & Southern Illinois. Let me know if there's any of the figures you are looking for too.
