DIY Lip Balm and TONS of other genius (and super easy!) homemade beauty recipes. Previous pinner says: "I've tried out about half of these ideas so far and they have all turned out amazing! Better than anything you could buy at the store!"
Make your own lipbalm. Soo easy, I use 2 cups of coconut oil, 2 tbsp of beeswax, 30 drops of peppermint oil, and 1 tbsp vit E oil. Melt all ingredients over low heat in a saucepan and mix well. Then pour into your favorite container and let harden overnight. If you don't like the consistency, you can always melt it down again and add more oil for softer...more beeswax for firmer.
Every winter I battle skin so dry it cracks and bleeds. A few years ago my grandmother gave me homemade lotion, which I love. It's about to run out, but now I have this recipe! This best part is, you can make it from dollar store materials and stuff you already have at home! I can not wait to try this one!
~ BAKING SODA PORE MINIMIZER~ After you've washed your face, place 2 tbsp. baking soda in the palm of your hand and add just enough water to form a thick paste. Massage the paste into your face, resisting the urge to scrub, for about 30 seconds. Rinse the paste away with cool water. You should notice that your pores are smaller almost immediately. After a week of this regime you'll see visible results as your skin becomes clearer and less prone to breakouts. - sounds promising!

Once a week for 20 minutes, sit in a hot bath that contains a handful of Epsom salts, 10 drops of lavender essential oil, and a half cup of baking soda. This combo draws out toxins, lowers stress-related hormones, and balances your pH levels. ~ Dr. Mark Hyman, M.D.
