My yard is mostly shaded and is home to hordes of rabbits, so my previous attempts to grow herbs failed. This idea is amazing; you can get shoe organizers at the dollar store, and growing herbs vertically keeps them away from both weeds and pests. I can hang this from my shed door! Could also be great for flowers--imagine a "wall of flowers" on a patio or fence.

Trenching - composting by digging a trench roughly 3-feet deep and filling it with compostable scraps, covering them with alternate layers of soil. Once completed leave them for 2-3months to break down and then plant your vegetables directing into the bed.
