Fred Alan Wolf brings the most modern perspective of quantum physics to the most ancient questions of religion and philosophy
Quantum physics proves the existence of the soul.* The soul's been proven and we didn't hear about it on the news? Must be a conspiracy... cough cough sputter.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?" In our scientific age, we sometimes reject the old myths if they cannot be historically validated. This misses the entire point of myth. Myths are not about what happened anciently, they are about understanding our human journey now. If we fail to appreciate this we miss out on a precious resource that can enrich our lives and provide the meaning we hunger for. These are some of the ideas I took away from reading the works of Joseph Campbell. Not my favorite edition - but the currently available one. In this Campbell explains the spiritual paradigm of the IndoEuropean people, which is very different from the MidEast "You are dirt, be a slave to the dictator god" paradigm which is really alien to Celtic people (and Hellenic and Vedic people - the whole PIE if you know what I mean).
'Who Moved My Cheese?' is a simple parable that reveals profound truths. It is an amusing and enlightening story of four characters who live in a maze and look for cheese to nourish them and make them happy. Cheese is a metaphor for what you want to have in life - whether it is a good job, a loving relationship, money or a possession, health or spiritual peace of mind. And the maze is where you look for what you want - the organisation you work in, or the family or community you live in.
