Cute new twist on the usual ornament-filled jars...I like the candy canes and bows a lot......Christmas
light & ribbon garland! Just tie ribbons onto a string of lights!
You can create these with some $1 dollar craft store letters, craft glue and soft peppermints. To create, simply cut peppermints in half, shave with fine grater to make perfectly flat on rear, then secure with craft glue for a whimsical monogram. Good craft for kids, or make JOY for the kitchen, kids' names to hang on the tree, etc.
Adorable AND cheap!
I have a friend who saves her Christmas cards and then prays for one family each week throughout the year. Just last week I got a postcard from her that said she and her family had been praying for us. What a cool way to love on a family. (Save all the old picture cards you receive, punch a few holes in them and add rings to keep them together.)

ornaments strung on a ribbon to make a swag
Candle Stick Apothecary Jars. You will need 3 candlesticks. These came in a set at Ross for $10. They were primed, then spray painted green. The jars were old Fry's salsa jars soaked in bleach solution and labels peeled off. The lids were spray painted to match the candlesticks. Lastly, the jars were glued onto the candlesticks with gorilla glue.
monogrammed pumpkins...love this idea!
Christmas "Minute to Win it" games for a family party!
Cute pumpkin - sometimes carving is just a messy pain. Can be child's name or person's initials, or "Harvest" or whatever. Love polka-dot grosgrain ribbon, can also be sheer or wired. Can't tell if the dots are painted on, or buttons. Painting a papier-mache pumpkin would last longer than painting a real one.
