Mushroom pasta sauce: This is a great "going into fall" dish. Simple, easy and have those fall flavors you want. Start by cutting up 1/2 LBS mushrooms and finely chop 1 onion and 2 garlic cloves. Heat up a pan and saute mushrooms, onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons olive oil until the mushroom starts to golden and the onion is soft. Our theme for Christmas this year was...A Very Bacon Christmas! We used this meatloaf recipe via the Pioneer Woman. I did add sauteed onions, cuz I love them, and didn't use the dry mustard for the sauce (we didn't have any on hand). Also, we had to add some bread crumbs because the meat/milk/bread mixture was crazy wet. This meatloaf took longer to cook for us, but it was phenomenal. Well worth every ounce of whatever is in ground beef or bacon. *Yummmm*
