Wet newspapers and put layers around the plants overlapping as you go; cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic; they will not get through wet newspaper.
Old window picture frame

Probably one of the coolest Ideas I've seen so far!! **Engineer prints at staples for 5 bucks!!! Who knew?!?!

I did 3 of these in orange as an accent for Malory's room (walls are gray with a teal stripe around the room). I used PAPER doileis. They turned out so cute. I used tape to hole the doilies in place and then sprayed them. The paint does get under the doiley a little and makes it look a little fuzzy but I think that it gives it character and dimension. SO CUTE, EASY and CHEAP!
spray-painted doily canvas.
Roses made from plastic spoons, heated with a candle.
bouncing bubbles...bubbles that don't pop!
Summer Activity. 1/4" Mt Dew in bottle, add tiny bit of baking soda and 3 capfuls of hydrogen peroxide. Shake and it glows. Pour on sidewalk to "paint"...Who knew!? (The kids will have a blast!!)" doing this this summer MAKE SURE THEY DON'T DRINK IT.
Put a shelf over a window and use the shelf brackets to hold a curtain rod. Love Irish shelves
