IF A DOCTOR, LAWYER, OR DENTIST HAD 40 PEOPLE IN HIS OFFICE AT ONE TIME, ALL OF WHOM HAD DIFFERENT NEEDS, AND SOME OF WHOM DIDN'T WANT TO BE THERE AND WERE CAUSING TROUBLE, AND THE DOCTOR, LAWYER, OR DENTIST, WITHOUT ASSISTANCE, HAD TO TREAT THEM ALL WITH PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE FOR NINE MONTHS, THEN HE MIGHT HAVE SOME CONCEPTION OF THE CLASSROOM TEACHER'S JOB. ~DONALD D. Remediation Wall - great idea. I teach 6th, 7th and 8th grade math. I think I will use this idea for those pesky little skills like dividing fractions, rounding decimals, adding and subtracting integers, etc. Having a binder nearby with answer keys really makes this user-friendly!

If you teach middle or high school math - I highly recommend spending a chunk of time looking through the lessons. They are amazing! All lessons use common core standards with real world problems. Great example...how many movies can you see in one day, justify answer with viable argument.

A game for 2 or 3 players. Each player chooses a color pencil they will use in the game. Players take turns rolling the dice, using the numbers that they rolled to draw the perimeter of a rectangle or square & writing the area in the middle of the shape. Game ends when players run out of room to draw. Winner is the player who has used the largest area/most squares.
