To celebrate the "100th Day of School" students were supposed to wear 100 of something. So going with the theme of "I survived 100 days..." we chose bandaids. We put 95 bandaids on the t-shirt and he wore 5 on his body. On the back we added "So did Mrs.Major!!" (his teacher, God bless her)

Saw this idea of making giant pencils out of pringles cans. Took it one step further and turned them into Box Tops collection bins. I will use them for decorations at Back to School night and Class Assignment Day. Then maybe some lucky students will win one of their own! (picture only.)

36 Clever DIY Ways To Decorate Your Classroom

Go to your local Lowes or Home Depot and have them cut a showerboard into 12"x12" squares for you. It will cost $10-$15 instead of $100 for a class set. Also, buy RoseArt brand erasers at Walmart for about $1.00 each during back to school sales and have the hardware folks cut them in half. An even cheaper option is to cut a piece of black craft felt into 6 pieces. Black dry erase markers from the dollar store work just fine, but avoid red as it stains your boards.

Fantastic idea! As an end of the year gift I bought my students beach-balls , they collected classmates signatures..we had a "ball"
