An authentic recipe for Cajun seafood gumbo. No exotic ingredients except filé, which is ground dried sassafras leaves. You might be able to get that online or at an herb shop if you can't get it locally, but gumbo can be eaten without it. You could add some stewed okra to the pot if you can't find filé. I pinned a recipe for that on my veg & sides board.
