DIY Cupcake Wrappers Wall Art | Shelterness
[wooden letters glued to canvas and painted. so easy to make.] I did this with some spare foam letters - painted them all white, glued them onto white canvas, then painted the letters and the canvas all in a shade of blue that worked well in our bedroom. A project completed in one evening (working around drying time).

@Liz Palik Here ya go. You could do it on a bigger scale and cut out the letters from cardboard or thick poster board. Paint them up, then stick the lights through them. ::This DIY would be great for a multitude of different words (by a bar in the house, in a kids room, etc.) It's like a faux neon sign.
