    Not sits about the celery. We always use homemade sweet pickles in my neck of Eastern N.C.

    Where is the mayo? We don't use celery, but we do use celery seed and no pickles.

    Funny, I didn't even notice the mayo was missing! Yikes! Not sure I've ever had any type of eastern NC slaw that didn't have mayo! But there's a million ways to make slaw and I'm sure it's good. Just not sure I'd put the Eastern NC label on it.
