Share your experiences and thoughts on this month's writing contest here on!

What scares you? In honor of Halloween this month, take a few moments to share an essay about a scary moment or something in this world that truly scares you. We're excited to read this month's entries!

This month, we want your stories, photos, videos, Tweets, and Facebook posts about a time when you succeeded or failed at a goal. Sharing your experiences, good or bad, about how you approached an important goal in your life can help inspire others. Also, teens and college students submitting an essay to the September writing contest have a chance to win a Lenovo Series A Tablet.

In August, our national writing contest, Twitter contest, and Photo contest will all be themed around sharing your best moments in life. But, we want to make Moments of Awesomeness more than that. At the end of the month, we are going to compile a video of all of Stage of Life members' most awesome moments. We will take all of the best essay quotes, Twitter entries, photo entries, and video submissions to create the ultimate Moments of Awesomeness montage.

Music plays an integral role in our lives. We all have stories tied to songs that have become a part of who we are, thanks to those songs during key moments and milestones of our lives.
