FRANCE, Aix en Provence. The Bibliotheque Mejanes was originally founded in 1810. Since 1989 it has formed part of the Cite du Livre. Incorporating a number of research institutes, as well as fulfilling the function of a public library, its most striking aspect is its architectural frontage, which takes the form of three giant-sized books: Albert Camus's L'Etranger (The Outsider), Antoine de Saint-Exupery's Little Prince, and the writings of Moliere.

George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl. When I grew up I used to listen to children's radio theater every Saturday. One of the best plays ever put on was George's Marvellous Medicine. I think that's partly why this is perhaps my favourite book by Roald Dahl.
