Organic Ancho Poblano - Beat the heat! The poblano is a very mild, heartshaped chili perfect for stuffing (like in chile rellenos), drying or in sauces. Peppers have medium-thick walls averaging 4-6” long with a wide interior. An immature poblano is dark green, almost black, ripening to green and eventually red. Dried it is referred to as an Ancho pepper and is ground and used as a flavoring spice. Plants are 25” tall and multibranching. Well-adapted variety with good yields even in cool region

Roma and San Marzano have NOTHING on Gilbertie (or Federle or Blue Beech). Very comparable in richness of flavor to Federle and Blue Beech though slightly tangier.

Organic Northeaster Pole Bean - The buttery flavor and hearty texture of this Romano bean will take your garden by storm! So named for its suitability in short-seasoned climes, Northeaster is consistently one of the earliest pole beans in our trials. Flattened, pale green pods grow 7-8” in length on tall, vigorous vines. Our 2012 trials crew loved picking this variety because plants climb well and beans are easy to distinguish from the foliage.
