Inducing Labor - 40+ Natural Ways To Induce Labor On Your Own
Red raspberry leaf tea- makes for an efficient uterus and quicker, easier labor. Evening Primrose- a strong prostaglandin (only to be taken after 36 weeks) that softens your cervix. Long walks- make you more limber for labor, if anything. Castor oil- Don't do it. Let's just say... you'll be pushing more than a baby out at your dr.'s face. Nipple stimulation- creates oxytocin, contractions. Be careful not to be overzealous with this method though. All the other stuff...well, giving it a try can't hurt. Remember: the baby will come when he/she is ready and 39+ weeks is full term. This is mostly to help prepare you for-and through-labor. Good luck ladies!
