Ear warmers (make them out of recycled knits, felt them or not). The tutorial is here: www.prudentbaby.com Made from shrunken wool sweaters, sleeves of thermal shirts, fleece, ets.

Calorimetry headbands knit by WorstedKnitt

Spring and Summer are the seasons for headbands! Instead of warm wool for the Winter, make this easy, BRIGHT band in cotton yarn. Use size US 8 needles and cast on approx. 24 stitches. Garter stitch until it fits TIGHT around your head (it will stretch a little with wear), seam together, and then add a wrap to cover the seam in the same color OR an accenting color for a fun pop. This band is made in DROPS Paris 11, but there are tons more pretty pastel colors at nordicmart.com
