Recipes, Bread

The Staff of Life... This board is aimed primarily at "normal" bread; holiday breads are under the individual "Holidays, ___" boards; specialized versions will be found in several other boards: "Recipes, Gluten Free," "Recipes, Low Carb," "Got Pizza?," "Got Flat Things to Wrap With?," and "Got Chips & Dip?"

"Oven Baked Sharp Cheese Bread Bites" -- I was totally intrigued by the look of these; reading the recipe, I'm still intrigued. I am not familiar with the "Imperial Sharp Cheese" called for; source here (www.canadianfavou... - sold in 250g units) or try substituting "Kraft Old English Cheese in a Jar" (roughly 1-1/2 jars).

"How to convert handmade recipes to bread machine recipes" -- Broad suggestions rather than any individual recipes.

Want to try "Fleischmann's Simply Homemade" no-knead bread and pretzel mixes -- recipes and variations at the click-through site, as well.

"Corazones de pan de leche via Kanela y Limón" -- Warning if you do not read Spanish: As this recipe is in Spanish and written on a photo, a machine-based translator does not translate the instructions. However, if you already have a recipe you like, there are photos that show how to shape these cuties and the tips do translate.

In 2011, "the Cappiellos of the Newark, Delaware bakery [created] football-shaped bread!" -- For now, inspiration only, but the bakery's Web site was only showing January special breads; this might appear again as a February special.

"Valentine’s Day Bread!" -- Unfortunately, the recipe for this lovely "Red Beet Bread" is not at the click-through, but illustrated instructions for shaping the heart loaf are. The recipe itself is from " Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day" and the link to that book is in the post.

"7 Ingredient Muesli Bread: A simple, 7 Ingredient muesli bread studded with pumpkin seeds, almonds and raisins. Perfect for sandwiches, french toast, or toasted with butter and honey for breakfast."
