Something to do with too small shirts
Materials: jersey, scissors, needle and thread Measure around your head and take away an inch. This is n." Cut a strip of jersey about 5" wide by n" long. Sew the ends together. Now find the place where you want to cinch it (you know, the part where the flowers are) and use a running stitch. Now pull your thread to ruche it. Add some flowers (the flowers are basically strips of jersey. You baste on one edge and pull it to make a ruffle, and then you sew the ends together). Done! I love that casual look about it. It's nice and soft. It keeps my ears warm.

Whitewashing allows a bit of the wood grain and color to show through the finish. The result is a soft, hazy white layer that's a little bit rustic, but still spiffs up an old floor quite nicely, unifying the entire surface in whiteness.
