Remove permanent marker from countertops and walls. Pour a bit of alcohol onto a cotton ball and rub on the stain. (Spot test on a hidden area first.)
PINNER SAYS---I love this stuff! I've used it to clean the tub, sinks, laminate floor, all the dirty crevices of my washing machine lid... and on and on. It's wonderful!! All it uses is baking soda, castile soap, vinegar and water. Add some essential oils to make it smell good. Other excellent cleaning recipes are on there as well.
Homemade soft scrub for bath & tile: 3/4 cup baking soda (slightly heaped) 1/4 cup castile soap (I use Dr. Bronners Peppermint) 1 Tablespoon water 1 Tablespoon vinegar
