Places I have been
I went to Nassau, Bahamas the year I turned 19. I remember it because it was the last "family" vacation to be had in my teen/kid years. I had conch, drank my first Bahama Mama, danced during Junkanoo, snorkeled, and chickened out over getting my hair braided at the Straw Market because I'd read that a lot of people picked up lice there. Ha! I was a weird kid. :P
Days 21 - 30: France. - Ah, la France! How could I possibly resist getting lost amid the gardens of Versailles and practicing my French with the locals in the countryside? I'd love to visit many of Paris' museums (not to mention sample the food!) and make my way to Avignon for a history lesson of sorts. Then it's back up to Lyon for the "Fête des Lumières" (Festival of Lights).
