Stepping stones...fun to see how they grow... (Good Christmas present idea for grandparents!)

I wish I would had thought of this years ago! Love the tooth receipt so you can remember when they lost them. Need to remember this!

Trace their hand on their birthday every year on the same paper. (It will make you cry. They grow up so fast!)

Make your own bouncy balls from scratch. Just borax and corn starch! This is a ridiculously cool science experiment.

Put tape on canvas, let them finger paint, remove the tape. This would be so cute if you did your little one's name as the word they paint over.

Could use on paper, too! Glowing Homemade Bath Paint! So easy to make and so fun!

Wonder Dough- an amazing moldable dough that transforms in magical ways as kids play! Only two ingredients and NO cooking required to make this fun recipe for PLAY! {It's WONDERful)

Handprint Calendar. Have them do their print each month, see how much their hands have grown by the end of the year! Or it could be a good craft project when you are talking about the months and the seasons.

OK... I want to do this with all my grandbabies!!!! Make easily with Salt Dough - 2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, cold water. Mix until has consistency of play dough. bake at 250 for 2 hours, then cool and paint.

Watermelon roll painting - a fun way to use those melons and create art this Summer!

I am doing this next winter, if it gets that cold!!! Fill balloons with water and add food coloring, once frozen cut the balloons off & they look like giant marbles. This is awesome!!!

Wish i knew this when I was babysitting! Crayon hot rocks: If you have not done this yet, you need to. Simply warm up the rocks in the oven (I did 220 for 10 minutes), then put them on a stack of newspapers (or something else you don't care if it gets crayon in it) and let the little ones go to town. Just remind them it is hot. I have done it with 2 1/2 year olds with no problem. My little lady often brings in rocks for me to "cook" so she can paint them

Draw a picture with glue, sprinkle salt, dip a paintbrush in water and food coloring and touch it to the salt...kids will be mesmerized.

I will be glad I kept this... Parents of girls, take note. A small spray bottle with 2 TBSP of fabric softener, the rest water = "Doll Hairspray." Easy method for smoothing and renewing any doll's hair.

Use tension rods and a sheet to make a tent in the hallway for the kids. You can decorate the sheet with fabric paint or markers. And can be easily stored when done. This is awesome!!!!

Sock Fish Game (magnets stuffed in near the mouth)... a great idea for old baby socks!
