Homemade Potstickers -- Take a break from take-out! These are easier (and yummier) than you think.
Airfry 2 baking potatoes for around 45 min at 200 degree. When cooked, slice off thin top (lengthwise) from potato. Spoon out potato flesh, leaving enough to support shell. Mash the flesh & mix with butter, 1 egg yolk, nutmeg powder, salt, pepper & 4 tbsp whipped cream. Stuff the mixture into the shells, sprinkle with some cheese and airfry for another 5 min. < Airfry time for the baking potatoes depends very much on the size. >
Peel carrot and cut into sticks (similar to McDonald's french fries!!) Combine carrot sticks with olive oil, chopped rosemary, sugar, salt & pepper. Stir until all are evenly coated. Airfry the sticks for around 12 min at 200 degree. Serve hot or at room temperature. < It's an absolutely healthy version of FRIES!! >
[Air-fryer recipe] Stuff riceballs with whatever you like (e.g. pork floss, salmon, leftover food) 200 degrees for 8 mins. Then brush the riceballs with soy sauce. 200 degrees for 3 more mins. Top with cheese while riceballs are hot and in the airfryer. Wrap with seaweed when done.
Homemade Croutons Stale bread, Butter (unsalted) Olive oil (optional) Method Preheat Airfryer for 2 - 3 mins @ 120C - 140C. (Can use a higher temperature and cut down on the cooking time but don't go beyond 160C with Airfryer.) Cube some stale bread to desired size. Toss in melted butter and olive oil until well coated. Pour in cubed bread and cook for 2-3 mins. Toss and fry for another 2 - 3 mins. Cool completely and store in airtight container
Aifryer Fries For best results, waxy potatoes must be used. After the preparation process, where the spuds need to be cut into strips, soaked in cold water, patted dry and coated in a tablespoon of oil, they're pre-fried at a higher temperature, allowed to cool, and then fried a second time. In total, the potatoes only spend about 15 minutes in the Airfryer and the results are beautiful non-greasy golden brown fries.
[Air-fryer Recipe] Potato wedges Ingredients: 350gm potato 1 tbsp cooking oil dashes of paprika Steps: 1. Scrub the potatoes clean and cut it into wedges. Airfryer Crispy duck pies I've been wanting to use this recipe from Donna Hay's cookbook No Time To Cook for a while now. Finely chopped roast duck is mixed with chopped green onion, hoisin sauce and plum sauce and encased between two gow gee wrappers. These were air-fried and ready in about 10 minutes and were unbelievably scrumptious.
Airfryer Sweet potato crisps These were a little trickier to air-fry as the sweet potatoes were shaved so thin, they clung onto each other once they were coated in a bit of oil. So I had to be careful with how they were placed in the Airfryer but other than that, these were definitely a delicious wholesome alternative to its deep-fried twin!
