When buying fruit and veggies, always soak them in a 1:4 ratio of vinegar and water to help remove toxins and pesticides - even organic! Leave them soaking for up to an hour, longer with nonorganic apples. At the end of the bath, sometimes you can even see cloudy like stuff in the water from the skins and waxes, and dirt on the bottom. Works awesome! Once I did this to blackberries and they were good for 3 WEEKS! That's unheard of with berries & water. The vinegar is KEY :)

Then you rub it on the offending dirt/stain/grease...whatever! You can usually just use your fingers...but you can also use a small sponge at times as well. :
1 c vinegar + 1 c hot water + 10 min microwave = steam clean! Quick and easy cleaning :) ! Trying this tomorrow!
Over time, towels build up detergent and fabric softener, leaving them unable to absorb as much water and smelling funky. Recharge them by washing them once with hot water and one cup vinegar, then a second time with hot water and half cup baking soda. This strips the residue and leaves them fresh and able to absorb more water again. Works like a charm!
