Built on a rocky outcrop, the Royal Fortress of Chinon majestically dominates the valley of la Vienne southwest of Tours. Built in the twelfth century, under the direction of Henry Plantagenet, Count of Anjou, the future King of England, the castle over the centuries became a landmark in the history of France.
Chinon, France. It was here in 1429 Joan of Arc met with the crown prince, the future King Charles VII. Since that times the castle became a royal residence: there are the royal apartments and spacious throne room of various kings and queens hidden here. Starting its history back in 954, the castle was being continuously rebuild and developed for around 5 more centuries.

Angus Barn. My favorite restaurant in Raleigh. It's been a long time since I've been there but I remember it was amazing!
Candlelight procession at Lourdes, France where our Blessed Mother appeared to various individuals on separate occasions. The most prominent among these are the apparitions to Saint Bernadette Soubirous, a 14-year-old peasant girl who eventually became a nun, that began in 1858. Many miracles and cures have also been attested to this sacred site. Since her death, St. Bernadette's body has remained internally incorrupt.
