Alphabet mail - post office pretend play with letter recognition. #ECE
Letter Recognition "Preschool" - You will need some foam letter stickers and jar lids (baby lids or milk jug caps would work too). You can do the whole alphabet (optional). Peel and stick letters into the insides of the lids. For beginners you might want to play with the letters facing up. For more experienced kids play face down.
Quick, Cheap, and Easy Share Chair One of the teachers at my school made this share chair. I thought it was clever and cute. I had never thought of using a plastic lawn chair for a “Share Chair”. She decorated it with stickers and the kids love it. She uses it for not only literacy, but other subjects as well such as the closing of her math lesson.

There wasn't a picture to go with this pin, so I'll just describe it! :) Each kid has a student number. When the class leaves the room, the teacher mentally picks a number and watches that student (bathroom, in line, whatever). Reward the student upon arrival into the classroom if the student was well-behaved. Everyone behaves because they don' tknow who it is!
