Less-Adoptable Animals

Black cats, older dogs, animals with special needs - meet some of the less-adoptable animals of Toronto Animal Services! Call (416) 338-PAWS to inquire about animals for adoption.

Hello, my name is MAGIC! I came into the shelter as a stray cat, and I am now available for adoption. I do have one health issue though. I have tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). This means I need to go to a home without any other cats, or I can live with other FIV positive cats. I also need to remain an indoor cat at all times.

Hello! My name is STARLETT. I came into the shelter as a stray cat and I am now available for adoption. I do have one health issue though. I have tested postive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). This means I need to go to a home without any other cats, or I can live with other FIV postive cats. Hi, my name is RAVEN. I am nice little girl with a very cute disposition. I do have some special needs (allergies), so please speak to shelter staff about how to take care of me.

SQUEAKY is a young, friendly, playful little girl. Problem is, she's not just squeaky, she's REALLY LOUD and would not be suitable for an apartment, condo or townhouse. Her ideal owner would have a very high tolerance for noise and have no close neighbours!

MAY BEE is one of those special cats that makes us here at TAS say "Wow. You're pretty amazing!". She is completely blind (likely from birth).

THEO (A649829) would love to be adopted with his pal SHINANIGANS.

SHINANIGANS (A649831) has been at the shelter since May! She deserves a forever home.
