Spring is coming and this is the BEST Weed Spray. I made 3 gallons for around $4.00 last year after seeing a pin. Worked better than Round Up & killed the weeds/stray grass on first application. One gallon of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, 1/2 c table salt, 1 tsp Dawn. Mix and pour into a smaller spray bottle. (you can purchase 3 gallon size Apple Cider Vinegar in the canning section of a good hardware store - cheap!)

Lilly"s BUGS, aphids Throw the peel into 300ml of boiling water and leave to simmer for half an hour or so. Meanwhile, pour the lemon juice into a spray can or a watering can with a rose and spray the affected leaves and stems on your plants. Aphids hate citrus, and will either die or disappear, leaving your plants to recover beautifully.

Great idea for a large back yard: Use your solar lights. They aren't just for the ground! Take a 2x4 and cut them into squares to fit the existing fence posts. Using galvanized screws - not nails - to screw a "L" bracket to the underneath base. Then on top, screw on the stake.
FINALLY found the original pin for this! Only cost $42 to make!!! Dig a 2ft deep hole four feet around. Purchase 25 4x4x12 pavers and 12 flagstone pavers. We bought ours from Menards. We also put two bags of 3/4" river rock in the bottom. It's so easy, we did it in just a little over an hour.
