Spring is coming and this is the BEST Weed Spray. I made 3 gallons for around $4.00 last year after seeing a pin. Worked better than Round Up & killed the weeds/stray grass on first application. One gallon of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, 1/2 c table salt, 1 tsp Dawn. Mix and pour into a smaller spray bottle. (you can purchase 3 gallon size Apple Cider Vinegar in the canning section of a good hardware store - cheap!)

Great idea for a large back yard: Use your solar lights. They aren't just for the ground! Take a 2x4 and cut them into squares to fit the existing fence posts. Using galvanized screws - not nails - to screw a "L" bracket to the underneath base. Then on top, screw on the stake.

FINALLY found the original pin for this! Only cost $42 to make!!! Dig a 2ft deep hole four feet around. Purchase 25 4x4x12 pavers and 12 flagstone pavers. We bought ours from Menards. We also put two bags of 3/4" river rock in the bottom. It's so easy, we did it in just a little over an hour.

2 c vinegar, 1T liquid soap, 1Tsalt....will kill anything! (for all those weeds growing in the cracks of the driveway!)

Baking soda neutralizes the ph in the soil and nothing will grow there. use baking soda around all of the edges of flower beds to keep the grass and weeds from growing into beds. Just sprinkle it onto the soil so that it covers it lightly. Do this twice a year - spring and fall

This site is AWESOME. photo gallery of containers with instructions to plant and description of flower. One of the best I've seen.

Always, ALWAYS have some Epsom's Salt on hand. Get a lush lawn, rejuvenate your scalp, and remove your blackheads...all with the power of Epsom salt. Some VERY interesting ideas!
