Dalmation Bellflower produces beautiful mounds of purple bell-shaped flowers from late spring through summer. Low-growing plant is perfect for adding color in front of other perennials. Grows only 6-9" tall. Spreads 12". Prefers full sun to partial shade. Deer resistant.
Huh....who knew!?! Baking soda neutralizes the ph in the soil and nothing will grow there. Use baking soda in a 6" wide area around all of the edges of my flower beds to keep the grass and weeds from growing into my beds. Just sprinkle it onto the soil so that it covers it lightly. Do this twice a year - spring and fall.
DIY weed killed that actually works! 2 cups of apple cider vinegar, 1 TBSP of salt, 1 TBSP of dish soap (I used Dawn). This picture is after one application. Most of the weeds only needed one.
