20. A story my mom used to tell me. My grandpa used to work at a diner, and I remember my mom telling me some stories about her and her sisters growing up there. I always pictured her having so much fun helping my grandpa out there! #uncommon #contest

19. Mom's favorite dessert. This was almost too easy. We crave this Entenmann's cake, and now I'm pretty sure they've stopped making it (updated it for less calories..psshh). So Yummy! #uncommon #contest

18. When Mom was young(er). This was an apple computer. #uncommon #contest

17. What makes my mother smile. This was probably supposed to be a picture of me, or one of the kids in our family- but I really think this quesadilla maker brings a smile to her face every time she uses it! Constantly referred to as the best gift ever. It's the little things in life! #ucommon #contest

16. Home for the holidays. Means baking lots of these cookies and doing our best to resemble Christmas things! #uncommon #contest

15. Best family vacation we took. Wildwood Beach, NJ was a yearly venture! It was local(ish) but we always had a great time eating, shopping and playing games on the boardwalk. #uncommon #contest

One of the best "heller" family vacation memories i have from growing up is the summer we went to wildwood with Rebecca and a bunch of your Mom's family. I still remember your grandma winning all the elmo stuffed animals from the claw game in the arcade on the boardwalk. I think i even still have them in a box in my garage. We had tons of fun on that trip!

That's a great memory! I also remember going crazy over winning things out of those crane games, esp the 'peanuts' characters! I think we probably paid triple what one of them was worth and still didn't get it, so the guy just opened it up and gave it to us!

13. The best advice mom ever gave. "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together" Maybe not as eloquently, but the overall idea. Never get too upset over something not going your way, things will come together in the end. #uncommon #contest

11. My mom's favorite dress. Impossible to find HER dress, but this style and fun pattern is up her alley and similar to something she wore last year to my cousins communion that she really loved. #uncommon #contest

10. My mom's garden. Well, she doesn't have a grow-in-the-ground garden, but she does enjoy a yummy garden salad! With some Jarlsberg cheese on top! #uncommon #contest

9. My mother's home (or the home I grew up in). This is a few houses away from our house in Flemington. We had many great memories there and I still miss living there! #uncommon #contest

8. Something my mom makes by hand. Whether it's big or small, my mom will give you a gift with some type of craftiness behind it. She loves to make everything she gives a little more special by adding her own special touch. #uncommon #contest

7. The song my mother loves to sing. This was a toss up between Frank Sinatra or Elvis, but I'll leave the Sinatra singing to my Grandpa up in Heaven. Momma, on the other hand has been an Elvis fan for as long as she can remember! #uncommon #contest

6. My mom's purse. Must be black, must have lots of pockets and hidden zippers for the most random items! And a long strap for sure. #uncommon #contest
