Kid Activities / Kids Card Holder Directions: Cut off the bottom half of your egg carton. Then cut a slit in each cup. " Eli was able to slide the cards in there himself. His cards stayed private from the rest of us and made it actually feel like a real game for once where he could play completely on his own!"
MY BOYS WOULD LOVE THIS! Dinosaur eggs: 1 1/4 cups dirt, 1 1/4 cups flour, 3/4 cups of salt, 1/2 cup if sand. mix dry ingredients start adding water slowly until it holds form, form around critters of your choice let dry in the sun and let the kids enjoy discovering whats inside.
Wish i knew this when I was babysitting! Crayon hot rocks: If you have not done this yet, you need to. Simply warm up the rocks in the oven (I did 220 for 10 minutes), then put them on a stack of newspapers (or something else you don't care if it gets crayon in it) and let the little ones go to town. Just remind them it is hot. I have done it with 2 1/2 year olds with no problem. My little lady often brings in rocks for me to "cook" so she can paint them
Spider web game. Just use painters tape to make the web and have the kids throw wads of paper at it to see if they can get it to stick
Use a tension rod between a piece furniture and the wall to create a fort. What kid doesn't love a fort? This would also make an awesome reading nook!
haha may have to try this. 5 minutes of hand-holding for sibling conflict. If you disrespect your sibling? 5 minutes of hand-holding. If you raise your voice to your sibling? 5 minutes of hand-holding. If you make fun of your sibling? 5 minutes of hand-holding.
