A man and his dog

Man and dog in harmony.

The best of friends are often the canine kind.

Proverbs 12:10 "A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." Cruelty to animals is judged by God. Any Friend of God is a friend to all creatures great and small.

The only creatures that are evolved enough to convey pure love are dogs and infants. ~ Johnny Depp

This is a man singing to his dog before he passed away. His dog died from eating tainted Waggin' Train dog treats. He wanted everyone to see this picture and know the story behind it so no one will lose a pet the way he did. - Imgur

This is just wonderful!

When I saw this scene of sadness and tenderness, I though twice before taking the picture. I wasn't happy, but I felt I should do. And I did. Notice the position of the dog, sharing the coverage with the man. The right arm of the dog embracing him. And the "jewel": a little "Eiffel Tower" pending from his necklace. Both man and dog were sleeping with a nice serenity. What friendship. This was the last shot of the day. (Jose Marcio) HomeLess, HomeLessNess, Poverty, Pobreza, Pauvreté

“On my story about Dogs for National Geographic Magazine, I got to know a remarkable man, Ed Mulrenin and his dog Sontag that had been paralyzed in an accident. Ed cared for this dog way beyond what anybody would expect. It was an incredible bond and I had a chance to follow these two on Sontag’s last great road trip.......This is a small collection from the trip and the last photo was shot through many tears as Ed said goodbye to Sontag a few months later.” Richard Olsenius
