I use this all the time, so just had to pepin it for others to learn, seriously once you master it, you'll never want to do it any other way. Foundation single crochet, this is an excellent tutorial for this fabulous method for your first two rows, keeps them from getting too tight, and it's very easy.
Lucy (of Attic 24) inspired her to make a "lighter" flower scarf. So an old doily pattern was altered & THIS is the resulting chart for the "Lighter than Lucy's Flower" - would work as motifs for an afghan, or as written, in a scarf. ENJOY your hook-y time!!
