Early Twentieth Century Japanese Posters (1915-1935)

A collection of original Japanese posters from the period of Imperial Japan covering the Taishō through early Shōwa era is held by the East Asian Library of the USC Libraries. This collection of forty-six posters comprises five categories— steamship travel posters, railway travel posters, the Ministry of Communications’ posters, commercial advertising posters, and expo posters.
