Macaroni and Cheese

This is a great recipe for proportions of ingredients for the cheese sauce.. We do only 1/2 the cheese sauce usually with the pound of noodles.. and I use 4 oz american and 2 oz cheddar.. but really.. you don't even need to bake it.. just make the noodles and the cheese sauce.. stir together and it's more like "boxed" than "baked" but it's that easy and real cheese!!! you can also bake it.. you'd need the entire cheese sauce recipe at that point in order to let it all bake into the noodles. It's delicious! I've been trying for a long time to get a good cheese sauce together.. and we really like this one.

@Dawn Delano @Pamela Kobza these were awesome!!!! If you are wondering.. we added the cumin.. they had a very small "kick" with all the black pepper (my youngest thought they were a little too spicy, but none of the rest of us did)... and also.. it doesn't really say what to do with the onion.. we mushed it in.. it didn't leave any chunks.. too easy and really really good!

Have you tried this yet? I have pinned it but haven't tried it. Looks good!

oh yes!!! we loved it!!!. "better than Mexico (the restaurant.. not the country)" the kids said.. We put everything but the cheese in the blender (we didn't want any green chunks).. then put that blended mixture into a bowl with the cheese and melted it in the microwave.. This recipe makes a TON! We're making it tonight again for dinner.. but I need to at least halve the recipe.. it lasted fine in the fridge.. but it was too much..

That is good to hear! I can't wait to try it!

Fresh Corn and Tomato Pasta

To try this summer: Want to know the easiest way to cook corn on the cob? Throw it in the oven at 350° for 25-30 minutes. That’s it. Leave the husk on, it will trap in the moisture, leaving you with juicy, tender corn. The husk and silk will peel away easily once it’s cooked. Cut off the large end and it slides right out with no silk.
