Vegangela - Vegan Beauty Product Reviews

A collection of vegan beauty products that I've personally tried... For a list of my all-time favorite vegan beauty products and vegan makeup products, visit:

Alba Botanica Replenishing Cocoa Butter Hawaiian Hand & Body Lotion ("This vegan lotion smells divine, but since I like really rich hand creams, I use this more as a body lotion" - Angela @

butter LONDON vegan Nail Lacquer in "Come To Bed Red" ("I absolutely love Butter London’s Nail Lacquer in “Come to Bed Red”. It’s the perfect bright red and looks so perfectly polished on short nails. It goes on so smooth and dries in a flash. It also has really good staying power when topped with a top coat. I really need to try more shades as this one is so impressive." -

Alba Botanica Kukui Nut Body Cream ("It's vegan, smells great, and moisturizes like no other!" -

My Favorite Vegan Beauty Products

Lush Cosmetics - Fresh Farmacy Soothing Calamine Cleanser Bar (Vegan) ("I've been using this ever since my university days. The formula is so creamy and calming, perfect for when my skin is breaking out or just feeling sensitive..." -

My Favorite Vegan Beauty Products

Yes To Cucumber Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes, 30 Count ("I've been using these vegan towelettes for about about a year now and I'm very happy with how they remove makeup and clean my skin. I leave a pack by my bed, so if I'm too lazy to wash off my makeup in the bathroom, I can quickly swipe it off in bed!" -")

My Favorite Vegan Beauty Products

100% Pure – Fruit Pigmented Lip & Cheek Stain ("LOVE this product! It has a similar effect to Benefit’s (non-vegan) cheek stain, but it’s coloured from fruit and vegetable pigments and like most products in the 100% Pure range, it’s vegan and gluten free. I love the rosy pink tint it gives my cheeks, which lasts for hours (if not all day). And it stains your lips with a beautiful colour, as though you’ve just eaten a cherry-flavoured popsicle." -

My Favorite Vegan Beauty Products

Lush - Volcano Foot Mask $12.95 (Vegan) "This thick mask has clays to draw out deep-down dirt, fresh papaya and lemon for cleansing, deodorising tomatoes, astringent herbal decoctions and anti-fungal essential oils. Plaster your feet, wrap them up in saved plastic and read a book for ten minutes. Unwrap, massage the mask into your feet to scrub off dead skin cells. Rinse thoroughly for the freshest pair in town" {"I bought this before my last beach holiday because my feet were in rough shape. It's a bit of a messy process, but my feet did look and feel better afterwards..." - Angela @}

Meow Meow Tweet Face & Body Tonic in “Palmarosa Cedar” {I received a sample of this in the Dec 2013 Vegan Cuts Beauty Box: It has a lovely, fresh woodsy smell - exactly the kind of scent I like to wear during the day. I would definitely consider buying this once I run out of my usual Pacifica perfume." - Angela @}

Pacifica Coconut Kiss Creamy Lip Butter in "Blissed Out" {I got this in the Dec 2013 Vegan Cuts Beauty Box: I LOVE Pacifica perfumes, but unfortunately this product isn't for me. I don't like having to use my finger to apply lip products (I prefer a tube), and this looks sheer yet greasy when on my lips" - Angela @}

yarok Feed Your Do Styling Whip {"I got this in the Feb 2014 Vegan Cuts Beauty Box: This has an amazing lemon and peppermint smell. It doesn't create any hold, but it's a nice option for defining your ends..." - Angela @}

Better Botanicals Coriander Balancing Cleanser {I got a sample of this in the Jan 2014 Vegan Cuts Beauty Box: The sample was a little sachet, so I was only able to wash my face with it twice. It seemed as though it did a good job of cleaning my face, but I can't tell whether it did anything to tighten my pores. - Angela @}
