This green lamé evening gown once worn by Lydia Ingeborg Keirkner, née Bremer (1861-1945), the wife of an industrialist, is an example of how hemlines began to descend towards the end of the 1920s. The snap-fastened pelerine is lined with silver fox. The outfit includes silk stockings, a pair of Solena-brand shoes made by the Karisto factory of Tampere, and an ostrich-feather fan.
